Developed in the KATCH_e Eu project, the CE Analyst is an online tool that assesses how much of a linear reference product’s Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) can be mitigated by applying Circular Economy (CE) strategies like sharing, repairing, or reusing. Selecting an appropriate strategy unlocks specific operational variables such as extending the product’s lifetime, intensifying its use, or enabling multiple users which directly impact the product’s life cycle phases and overall PCF. By modelling these variables, users can effectively estimate and compare the environmental benefits of implementing various CE strategies.
