EUROPAISCHER VERBAND BERUFLICHER BILDUNGSTRAGER (EVBB) e.V. contributes its vast network and experience in promoting quality and innovation in VET across Europe. As a key partner, EVBB facilitates the exchange of best practices, contributes to the development of the common training framework, and engages in activities to enhance the digital and pedagogical skills of VET staff.

KTH - Royal Institute of Technology
Since its founding in 1827, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. KTH is Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world dedicated to advancing knowledge. KTH is working with industry and society in the pursuit of sustainable solutions to some of humanity’s greatest challenges: climate change, future energy supply, urbanization and quality of life for the rapidly-growing elderly population.

European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC)
The European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) represents the interests of construction companies of all sizes across Europe, from small and medium-sized enterprises to major international contractors. As the recognized voice of the sector at the European level, FIEC engages with EU institutions to shape policies and regulations that impact construction, infrastructure, and sustainable development. Its work covers key areas such as digitalisation, green transition, skills development, and fair competition, ensuring that the industry can meet Europe’s economic, social, and environmental challenges. By fostering innovation and promoting collaboration, FIEC plays a central role in building a sustainable and competitive European construction sector.

AKMI
The Institute of Vocational Training AKMI is Greece’s largest VET provider, founded in 1989. It operates in 9 cities, enrolling around 18,000 students yearly in 112 specialties across 14 sectors. AKMI is part of the AKMI Group, which includes Metropolitan College. It offers post-secondary education at EQF levels 3-5 and collaborates internationally with organizations like ITEC and Pearson Edexcel. AKMI emphasizes social inclusion and aims to cultivate productive, broad-minded citizens through education. It has received numerous awards, including recognition as the most Innovative VET Provider in Europe by the European Vocational Skills Week in 2022. Additionally, AKMI SA is Greece’s only Centre of Vocational Excellence, affiliated with the European Network for Excellence.

University of Perugia (UP)
The University of Perugia (UP), founded in 1308, is one of the oldest universities in Italy and Europe, renowned for its long-standing academic tradition and commitment to innovation. Located in the historic city of Perugia, it offers a wide range of programs across diverse fields, including humanities, sciences, engineering, medicine, law, and economics. The university is internationally recognized for its research excellence, cultural heritage, and vibrant student life, attracting learners and scholars from around the world. With a strong focus on sustainability, digital transformation, and international cooperation, the University of Perugia continues to play a vital role in advancing knowledge and preparing students for global challenges.

National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG)
The National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG) is a Portuguese public research and development institution dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in the fields of energy, geology, and sustainability. Operating under the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action, LNEG focuses on applied research, technological development, and the transfer of scientific expertise to industry, government, and society. Its work supports the energy transition, efficient resource management, and the promotion of renewable energies, while also contributing to the understanding and sustainable use of geological resources. Through partnerships at national and international levels, LNEG plays a key role in fostering innovation and supporting Portugal’s environmental and economic goals.

Mazovia Energy Agency (MAE)
The Mazovia Energy Agency (MAE) is a regional organization based in Poland that promotes sustainable energy development and supports the transition to a low-carbon economy. Its mission is to foster energy efficiency, renewable energy use, and innovative solutions that contribute to environmental protection and regional growth. MAE works closely with local authorities, businesses, research institutions, and citizens to provide expertise, develop projects, and implement strategies aligned with national and European climate and energy goals. By raising awareness, offering technical support, and encouraging collaboration, the agency plays a central role in driving the Mazovia region toward a greener and more energy-efficient future.

Habitech Distretto Tecnologico Trentino (HABITECH)
Habitech – Distretto Tecnologico Trentino is a consortium (founded in 2006) based in Rovereto, Trentino, Italy, focused on sustainable building, energy efficiency, and smart technologies for environmental and territorial management. It brings together private companies, public entities, universities, and research institutions, with more than 120 members. Habitech reinvests 100% of its profits into innovation projects, and operates with high standards of sustainability certification (B Corp, EcoVadis, Just). Its mission is to transform the construction and energy markets through integrated value chains, sustainable processes, and services that span consulting, certification (LEED, BREEAM, etc.), energy modelling, and infrastructure asset management.

University of Zagreb (Faculty of Architecture)
The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb (Arhitektonski fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu), established in its architectural teaching roots since 1919, is the main institution in Croatia for education, research, and design in architecture, urban planning, and related disciplines. It offers undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and specialist studies in Architecture & Urban Design and Design (industrial design, visual communications).

Vocational Training Institute of the Construction Industry in North-Rhine Westphalia (BFW-NRW)
The Vocational Training Institute of the Construction Industry in North-Rhine Westphalia (BFW-NRW) is a leading institution in Germany dedicated to education, training, and professional development in the construction sector. It provides initial vocational training, advanced qualifications, and lifelong learning opportunities for workers, apprentices, and professionals across all areas of the building industry. Through its network of modern training centers and strong cooperation with industry partners, BFW-NRW ensures high-quality, practice-oriented education that meets the demands of the labor market.

NOVIA University of Applied Sciences
Novia University of Applied Sciences is Finland’s largest Swedish-speaking university of applied sciences, offering practice-oriented education in both Swedish and English. Established on August 1, 2008, through the merger of Sydväst Polytechnic and Swedish Polytechnic, Novia operates campuses in Vaasa, Turku, Raseborg, and Jakobstad. With approximately 5,100 students and a staff of around 375, the institution provides Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in fields such as technology, health and welfare, business, natural resources, and arts and humanities. Novia emphasizes close collaboration with the business community and maintains an active alumni network.

BGT Innovation Labs is the innovation arm of BGT Consulting Group, dedicated to fostering collaborative and open innovation across high-impact sectors. The Labs work closely with leading European partners and networks to drive disruptive innovation in areas such as energy, sustainability, digital technologies, and education. Their services include open innovation programs, startup and corporate innovation initiatives, living labs, market and policy analysis, internationalization missions, and professional training. Merinova Technology Center (MERINOVA)
Merinova Technology Centre (MERINOVA) is a Finnish innovation hub in Vaasa, at the heart of the EnergyVaasa cluster. Established in 1989, it connects companies, universities, and public institutions to drive innovation and sustainable growth in energy technology. Merinova offers business development, startup acceleration, process optimization, and international project support, focusing on smart grids, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and digitalization. As a key player in the region, it fosters collaboration and innovation to strengthen the global competitiveness of the energy sector.

Panhellenic Association of Engineers Contractors (PEDMEDE)
The Panhellenic Association of Engineers Contractors of Public Works (PEDMEDE), established in 1935, is Greece’s leading construction industry federation. Representing over 2,500 members—including contractors, engineers, and technical firms—PEDMEDE encompasses all grades from A1 to A7 as classified by the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. With its headquarters in Athens and 15 regional departments nationwide, PEDMEDE advocates for its members’ interests at national and European levels. It actively shapes public policy, participates in social dialogue, and contributes to legislative frameworks governing the construction sector.

Folkuniversitetet (FU)
Folkuniversitetet (FU) is a prominent Swedish adult education association offering a wide range of courses across Sweden and several European countries. Established in 1954, FU is affiliated with five Swedish universities: Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Lund, and Umeå. It is one of ten organizations in Sweden involved in “folkbildning”—a concept encompassing voluntary, lifelong learning that extends beyond formal education.

TUCEP – International Network for Knowledge and Jobs
TUCEP – International Network for Knowledge and Jobs is a non-profit association founded in 1992 in Perugia, Italy. Established by twelve Italian universities, numerous enterprises, and public authorities, TUCEP aims to bridge the gap between academia and the workforce through research and training projects. Its mission focuses on promoting innovation, quality education, social inclusion, entrepreneurship, and European values at regional, national, and European levels. TUCEP has participated in over 100 European projects, including those under the Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020 programs, and is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

Extremadura Energy Agency Consortium (AGENEX)
The Extremadura Energy Agency Consortium (AGENEX) is a public entity established in 2001 by regional and local authorities in Spain’s Extremadura region. Its mission is to promote sustainable energy development through the use of renewable sources, energy efficiency, and strategic energy planning. AGENEX supports public administrations in designing and executing energy policies, offering technical assistance, training, and consultancy services. It plays a pivotal role in managing regional, national, and European energy projects, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy self-sufficiency. The agency is actively involved in initiatives like the UNIFHY project, which promotes green hydrogen and biogas, and the FACILITA project, focused on energy renovation of public buildings.

YA – Vocational Academy in Ostrobothnia
YA – Vocational College of Ostrobothnia (Yrkesakademin i Österbotten) is a leading vocational education and training provider in Finland, offering instruction primarily in Swedish. With approximately 2,600 students and 190 staff members, YA operates campuses in Vaasa, Närpes, Jakobstad, and Pedersöre. The institution is managed by the Federation of Swedish Ostrobothnia for Education and Culture. YA provides a wide range of vocational programs for both youth and adults, as well as corporate training services. Its mission is to prepare students and staff for a society and a region that has close contacts across cultural and national boundaries.

Energy Efficient Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC)
The Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC) is an entity whose purpose is to promote the field of energy efficiency through collaboration between companies and associated entities from areas such as technology, research, institutional, regulatory, industrial, informational and business.

Ramon Llull University - La Salle (LASALLE)
Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) is a non-profit making private entity structured under a federative agreement between the university, the formal holder and responsible of the centres that form it (such as La Salle-URL), and the different entities that manage each centre with their resources preserving their juridical personality, heritage and responsibility. Specifically, URL will be involved in EXCEL4HOUSING with the Engineering and Architecture departments of La Salle Campus Barcelona which offers high-quality education through its Undergraduate and Master’s Programs and trains professionals with a high ethical commitment and the necessary values to be innovators, to know how to adapt to changes and to lead society’s transformations. .

North-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency (REGEA)
REGEA is a public, non-profit regional energy and climate agency with over 15 years of experience in supporting cities and regions in the green transition. We provide technical and financial expertise for planning and implementing sustainable projects. Our work is divided into four key areas: Energy, Buildings, Climate, and Finance. We are driven by innovation and dedicated to creating resilient, low-carbon communities.

Foundation for Architecture / Torino (FOAT)
Fondazione per l’architettura / Torino was established in 2002 by the Turin Association of Architects with the goal of promoting architecture as a tool to enhance quality of life, both individually and collectively. Rooted in the regional context but active on national and international stages, the Foundation fosters interdisciplinary connections, serving as a bridge between design, construction, technology, and the broader cultural sphere.
By encouraging dialogue across disciplines, professional practices, and local territories, the Foundation creates opportunities for vocational training and cultural engagement. Its initiatives are designed to reach a wide and diverse audience of professionals, institutions, and citizens.

Vocational Training Center of the Civil Construction Industry and Public Works in Portugal (CICCOPN)
Vocational Training Center of the Civil Construction Industry and Public Works in Portugal (CICCOPN) is a leading vocational education and training institution located in Maia, northern Portugal. Established through a partnership between the Portuguese Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) and the Building and Public Works Industrialists Association (AICCOPN), CICCOPN specializes in developing skilled professionals for the construction sector.

Sumy High Vocational School of Construction and Design
Sumy High Vocational School of Construction and Design offers VET training in areas including construction workers, professions in the light and food industries, and the beauty industry, providing skills applicable across all sectors capable of adapting to modern educational environments. The institution delivers educational services in 13 professions. Currently, approximately 450 students are enrolled at the school. It participates in the scientific and educational alliance “Formation of Soft Skills of Skilled Workers.”
